Phishing campaign
We inform all our customers that recent phishing attempts by third parties fraudulently using our company name to obtain personal information, including credit card data, have been detected.
Some users may receive or have received misleading text messages or e-mails seemingly sent by Autostrade per l'Italia, which are actually scams orchestrated by attackers.
Please note that Unpaid Toll Tickets can only be paid on the official channels published on this website.
We alert users to pay attention to and report any fraudulent attempts to enforcement bodies, and notify us by email at info@autostrade.it
How can I recognise a phishing attempt?
Here are some simple tips to bear in mind, in order to recognise possible scam attempts:
Our official e-mail address has always the extension @autostrade.it.
If the message is written in unclear language or with obvious spelling mistakes, this may indicate a fraudulent attempt.
To be sure that the link you received is from Autostrade per l'Italia’s official website, it must have the extension autostrade.it. Before clicking on it, hover over it with your cursor and check the URL displayed. If it looks suspicious, do not open it.
