Entry toll booth self-certification

If the Unpaid Toll Ticket” shows the “Entry NOT DETECTED” or “Lost ticket” wording, this means that, at the time of exit, it was not possible to link the journey to an entry toll booth correctly.

In these situations, the toll is calculated based on the entire journey starting from the furthest toll booth, as provided for in Article 176(16) of the Highway Code.

In this section, you can self-certify your entry toll booth and request a recalculation of the toll charge if your entry was not detected or if you were unable to present the ticket collected on entry.

You may also attach any relevant documentation to prove the actual entry toll booth.
Autostrade per l’Italia reserves the right to accept the self-certification submitted in accordance with Presidential Decree 445/2000 and to carry out subsequent checks on the accuracy of the declarations.

If you have been charged for the entire motorway section and have not paid yet, you can certify the correct section you have travelled by following the instructions.
If you have already paid the full amount at the toll booth, you can claim a refund once you have completed the self-certification form. To do this, access the following web form, select “Toll refund” from the menu, and specify the payment method used.
