AUTOSTRADE PER L’ITALIA AGREES REVOLVING CREDIT FACILITY
Rome, 27 April 2021 - Autostrade per l’Italia (“ASPI”) has today signed a 5-year €750m revolving credit facility with the aim of strengthening the Company’s financial structure. The proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes and to support the upgrade and modernisation of the motorway network operated under concession by ASPI.
Confirming the Company’s commitment to sustainable development goals, the facility includes an option to convert the agreement into a Sustainability-linked Revolving Credit Facility following publication of the ASPI Group’s first Sustainability Report, expected by June 2021.
The Company has put integrated, sustainable and safe mobility designed to meet the community’s needs at the heart of its strategy. These principles will be reflected in the sustainability performance indicators that the Company is committed to achieve over the term of the facility.
The financing has been syndicated by a pool of Italian and international banks: Intesa Sanpaolo, BNL, UniCredit, Banco BPM and Natixis.
