We are engaged in the implementation of projects to develop a freeway network functional to the social and economic growth of the country and to play a leading role in the development of the major trans-European connection backbones. We oversee activities related to the design, construction and maintenance of infrastructure and the development of "energy projects" consistent with ethical principles and sustainability.
Digital Transformation is the fundamental lever to drive and promote the profound transformation of Autostrade per l'Italia at multiple levels: new ways of working, new technological capabilities, new skills to be implemented and developed, a new way of acting with respect to all stakeholders (both internal and external) and, finally, a significant cultural shift. The IT and Digital Transformation Department leads this process and designs, builds and operates all systems and platforms in order to obtain a perfect digital twin of the company and its assets. It all starts with planning and engineering systems and ends with traffic management and road systems through maintenance systems.
In doing so, it introduces technological, process and data analysis innovations aimed at increasing safety or all road users.

We are Europe's leading concessionaire for the construction and management of toll freeways and related mobility services. Every day, we work to raise safety standards and improve traffic fluidity, with constant information, efficient maintenance and strict service quality checks. We supervise activities that are developed within complex processes and involve staff units with heterogeneous specialist skills: management control, legal, administrative and financial monitoring, communication processes and image management, internal auditing, risk management, organization and human resources, trade union and institutional relations.
The finance area is responsible for ensuring adequate cash flow planning and management, short- and medium/long-term requirement coverage, liquidity, exchange and interest rate risk management, and centralized Treasury management. Moreover, it manages relations with the banking system, investors and rating agencies, and arranges risk arbitrage on insurance markets and manages the claims of the Group Companies.
