The Map and Action Plan in your Area
The map and action plan in your area
In order to facilitate dialogue with the public, Autostrade per l'Italia has implemented an innovative three-dimensional representation system of the results obtained from the noise mapping carried out on the entire network, and of the future situation following the implementation of the Action Plan. It will be possible to view and virtually "navigate" areas by using the drop-down menus below.
Compliance with European legislation
To facilitate communication with the public, Autostrade per l'Italia has implemented an innovative system to three-dimensionally represent the results of the noise mapping performed across its network as well as the future situation following implementation of the Action plan. The below selection forms can be used to view and "navigate" the affected areas in a virtual environment.
Specific colours have also been used in these three-dimensional representations to represent current and future conditions of exposure to highway noise: a map highlighting the benefits of the noise mitigation works envisaged by the Action Plan, has also been developed.
Contrary to previous presentations, updates to the Acoustic Mapping and Action Plans dated 20.04.2013 are now only represented with equal loudness curves, together with details of the effectiveness of the planned measures and local information supplemented with additional details (municipal boundaries, sensitive buildings and the perimeter of the mapped territory). In line with the Technical Specifications of the Ministry of the Environment, the new graphics allow easier viewing of the underlying map below and therefore facilitates recognition of residential units and the effect of noise in the area.
