Chairman of Autostrade per l'Italia since January 2019, Mr. Mari holds an honours degree in chemical engineering from Rome's "La Sapienza" University. He began his career in the Istituto Mobiliare Italiano, where he was appointed Central Director in 1997, in charge of credits to large industrial groups and Corporate Finance. From 1999 to 2002, he was Managing Director of IMI Investimenti S.p.A. and from 2003 to 2005 he was General Director of COFIRI. He was and is still today a member of the Board of Directors of listed companies and various share capital companies.

He has been on Atlantia's Board of Directors since 2009, where he held the position of Chairman of the Control, Risk and Corporate Governance Committee, Chairman of the Independent Directors Committee for Operations with Correlated Parties and Director in Charge of the internal control and risk management system.

Already Director General of Autostrade per l'Italia as of September 2018, Roberto Tomasi was nominated CEO in January 2019, having joined the company in July 2015 as Chief Operating Officer for Construction and Infrastructure Development. Born in 1967, he holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Padua and has completed an Executive Program Master at Harvard Business School; an International Executive Program at INSEAD and a Master in Finance and Project Control at SDA Bocconi. Before joining Autostrade per l'Italia he served as Head of Carbon Generation for the Enel Group where he was previously Head of Engineering and Construction for the development of major traditional power plants, both on a national and international scale. Before this he held several senior positions in the field of Operations and Project Management, Engineering & Construction, Investment Management and Process Optimization, also for companies within the Fiat Group and for GE-Nuovo Pignone. Today he is Coordinator of the Autostrade per l'Italia Group's Italian highway concessionaires for investments and Value Engineering.

 

Born in Naples in 1977, he graduated in Economics from Federico II University and obtained a master's degree in Business Administration from Hult International Business School (in London, Shanghai and Boston).
He is Vice Chair of the Business at OECD Anti-Corruption Committee (BIAC) and B20 member of the "Integrity & compliance" Task Force.
He began his career as an Auditor at Arthur Andersen in 2001. In 2003 he joined FINMECCANICA SpA, as Senior Internal Audit. Since 2005 he has had international experiences (Brazil, EU, UAE, China) gained in multinational companies such as Accenture and Dufry International LTD mainly in the fields of Risk Management, Performance Improvement and Strategic Consulting. In 2012 he returned to Italy to work as Risk Advisory Services Director at EY and, from 2015 to 2020, he participated in the corporate restructuring of Thyssenkrupp Acciai Speciali Terni, holding the position of Governance Director & Business Continuity Officer.

Born in 1972, he holds a degree in Law from University of Rome, "La Sapienza". He is a lawyer with previous experience in the field of legal consultancy on issues relating to public works, holding roles of responsibility within consortiums operating in the construction of high speed train lines as well as appointments in top construction firms. Before joining Autostrade per l'Italia in 2007 he was Head of Legal Affairs in Italferr, Ferrovie dello Stato Group. In January 2015 he has been appointed Legal Affairs Executive Vice President. He is Director in some Group subsidiaries.


Born in Moncalieri (TO) in 1978, he graduated in Business Administration from the University of Turin. Since February 2020 he has been Internal Audit Director of the Autostrade per l'Italia Group and a member of the Supervisory Body.

He began his career at Ernst & Young in 2004 where he gained extensive experience in the audit of financial statements of listed companies such as Telecom Italia, Snam Rete Gas and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV. In 2013 he moved to the United States where, again for Ernst & Young, held the role of Audit Senior Manager first in AT&T (Atlanta) and, starting from 2015, also in Nissan North America (Nashville) and Nissan Canada (Toronto). Still in Ernst & Young, he gained significant experience in Capital Market transactions (IPO, bond offerings). He moved back to Italy at the end of 2016 and was first hired by Vodafone as Head of Internal Audit of Vodafone Italy and, from the beginning of 2018, he was appointed Head of Internal Audit for Southern Europe.

Alberto Milvio was born in Milan in 1959 where he graduated in Economics from Bocconi University.

Since 1984 he covered different roles and responsibilities in Administration Finance and Control Areas. He started at Eridania-Beghin Say and then moved to the Telecom Italia Group where he served as Director of Planning and Control of Stet International.

After a two-years experience in a telecommunication start-up as Finance Director, he joined Finmeccanica in 2002 as Corporate Finance Director. And subsequently as Chief Financial Officer at Selex Galileo and Ansaldo STS. In 2013 he stared to work as financial advisor for several Private Equity Funds and Institutions.


Born in Naples in 1969, Gian Luca Orefice holds a degree in Law from the city's Federico II University. He began his career with Deutsche Bank in 1997, working in legal affairs and industrial relations. He joined ACEA SpA in 2004, first in industrial relations and then as head of HR for the holding company and a number of subsidiaries. In 2006, he moved to Alenia Aeronautica, initially to work in Trade Union and Industrial Relations, before taking on positions of increasing responsibility until he was appointed HR & Organization Director in 2015. During this period, he played a leading role in the radical transformation of Finmeccanica's Aviation business. In 2017, he was appointed HR & Organization Director for Leonardo's Helicopters division, also taking on roles in other subsidiaries. Mr Orefice, who is married and has two children, has a keen interest in people and processes.

Born in Milan in 1974, he graduated in Literature from Università del Sacro Cuore di Milano. From March 2016 to October 2018 he worked at Aeroporti di Roma, as Director of External Relations and Institutional Affairs. From 2014 to early 2016 he held the position of External Relations and Communication Director of Acea Spa, a leading multi-utility company in the water and energy sector, listed on the Milan Stock Exchange. Previously, he was Head of Institutional Affairs and of the Studies Department of Simest Spa, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti Group. In the period 2010-2013, with three different executives, he led the communication of the Ministry of Economic Development and carried out the same task for the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport. For several years he dealt with territorial development and policies for the South, also as Head of Press, Information and Institutional Communication Sector for the Campania Region. As a professional journalist, he worked for La Stampa and wrote essays for Mondadori and Apogeo. In 2013 he was appointed as Cavaliere al Merito della Repubblica Italiana.
